Stephanie A. Stein, MD

Adult Diabetes and Endocrinology
Dr. Stein was born and raised in Rockville, Maryland.  For her undergraduate studies she attended Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.  There, she was elected into the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society for her outstanding academic achievements. Thereafter, she attended the George Washington University School of Medicine where she graduated with honors and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honors Society.  She then completed her Internal Medicine training at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. 
Dr. Stein elected to pursue further subspecialty training in Endocrinology and Diabetes and was selected to continue her training at the University of Maryland Medical Center.  There she trained with many top physicians in treating complex endocrinologic conditions. During her fellowship she received the Clinical Fellow – Teacher of the Year award and was asked to stay on faculty as an Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.  During her time as an Assistant Professor,  she not only developed a busy clinical practice but also published several articles in peer-reviewed journals, co-authored book chapters, presented abstracts at national meetings, delivered Grand Round presentations to neighboring hospitals, and taught medical students, residents, and fellows.  She is board-certified in Endocrinology.
Dr. Stein then returned to the Washington, DC area to start her private practice. Her focus is on the management of diabetes and endocrinologic disorders.
When not at work Dr. Stein enjoys traveling, staying active, and spending time with her husband Ben, an Orthopaedic Surgeon, and their two daughters Maya and Talia.

Lindsay Davage
Biography

Lindsay Davage, ANP-C, CDE, RN BSN

Adult Diabetes and Endocrinology
Lindsay Davage was born and raised in Maryland.  Lindsay attended James Madison University where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. After graduation, Lindsay moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where she gained experience as an RN at Emory University Hospital. At the same time, she attended Emory University and earned a Masters of Science (Nursing) Degree with a focus on Adult and Women’s Health. 
After graduating from Emory, Lindsay joined an Internal Medicine practice in Atlanta, GA where she gained experience in Adult Medicine. During this time, she volunteered at women’s clinics to provide care for those in need and grow her diverse experience. She found her calling in 2009, when she joined an Endocrinology practice in Decatur, Georgia. Here she developed her skills with diabetes and endocrinology management, earning her Certified Diabetes Educator license. After moving back to Maryland in 2016, Lindsay worked with an OBGYN practice for 2 years and returned to endocrinology at the Veterans Hospital of Baltimore, where she spent the last 5 years. 
In her free time, Lindsay enjoys being with her family – husband, Blake, and children, Owen, Will, and Quinn. Their activities include youth sports, dance, yoga, travel, and as much time at the beach as possible. To schedule an appointment with Lindsay, call the office at (301) 941-3090.
